VOC & REFRESHER OPTIONS
The Traffic Controller course provides training for those who are required to control traffic with a Stop/ Slow bat including stopping and starting traffic in temporary traffic management
The Implement Traffic course, known as Traffic Management Plan Implementer in NSW, Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) in QLD, and Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) in WA, provides training for those who must setup and conduct traffic management at construction zones, accident or other road disruption. In Queensland, a mandatory 20 hours of work placement is required by the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
The Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan course is only offered in NSW and provides the skills and knowledge required for individuals responsible for developing traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes to perform a preliminary risk assessment of a temporary traffic management site and select, modify and design traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes.
- *To complete this course, participants must be at least:
- 17 years old (NSW & VIC)
- 18 years old (QLD & WA)
